Shower Repair in Sydney | Our 7 Day Process

Tiles Removed
Day 1

  • Remove shower screen/taps/shower rose
  • Remove 1-2 rows of wall tiles for a standard base repair or complete for a full shower repair
  • Remove wall linings/cement render to walls
  • Remove hob tiles, top & inside
  • Remove floor tiles and floor bed
  • Inspect for further damage & report

Timber Work Completed

Day 2

  • Render/reline walls where required
  • Apply a coat of Epoxy waterproofing, which is part 1 of our seamless flexible membrane, to shower with upturns to walls & over hob dressing down into the drain.

Day 3

  • Apply 1st coat of hybrid waterproofing membrane to shower with upturns to walls & over hob dressing down into the drain.

Day 4

  • Apply 2nd coat of hybrid waterproofing membrane to shower with upturns to walls & over hob dressing down into the drain.

Day 5

  • This is curing day so no attendance on site.

Day 6

  • Supply and fix wall tiles as required to walls and hob area.
  • Supply and fix floor tiles including new waste.
  • Grout tiled area.

1st Coat Water Proffing

Day 7

  • Re-install existing shower screen/taps/rose.
  • Clean up site & hand over to the client.
